Ablaze!

Since it's 2004 National Convention, the LCMS congregations have pledged to become a church that is Ablaze with God's love.

This evangelism movement has led our churches and people to become more focused on sharing their faith. The movement's name is taken from the words of Jesus' disciples on the road to Emmaus: "Were not our hearts ablaze within us while Jesus talked with us and opened the Scriptures to us" (Luke 24:32).

St. Paul's is pleased to be a part of this movement. We have held classes and given sermons on evangelism techniques. We have engaged in new evangelism efforts. We have raised money to help support new mission starts. We have prayed for the Holy Spirit's power. We have made a renewed effort to tell people that Jesus Christ has died for our sins so we might have new life.
