Youth Ministry
The youth of our congregation are not only the church of tomorrow, but also the church of today. With that attitude in mind we continue to teach and help our youth grow, while also recognizing their gifts and interests now. Our youth are involved in the life of the congregation, not off by themselves in some separate place.
"Youth" at St. Paul's are defined as those in grades 7 to 12. We have adopted the following Goals in guiding our ministry to/with youth:
- To help young people grow in faith
- To build relationships among congregation's youth
- To build a community that welcomes new youth
- To allow youth to have good, clean fun
St. Paul's youth ministry is called SPY (St. Paul's Youth). The ministry is supported by a volunteer Board and a paid Youth Director. Youth are encouraged to attend worship and Sunday School. Youth help to serve during worship once a month as greeters, worship aides, readers and acolytes. Youth are invited, usually twice a month, to attend an activity of service or fun. See the current SPY schedule below, or contact our Youth Director to be put on the mailing list of upcoming events. The Youth Director can be contacted through the church office: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
