Central to our teaching ministry are Sunday School and the Adult Bible Class held each Sunday during the school year from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. In addition to our regular classes, St. Paul’s holds Intergenerational Programs and Seasonal Celebrations on selected Sundays throughout the year.
St. Paul’s also offers learning opportunities through Confirmation programs for youth and adults, our Preschool, Bible classes during the week, sermons on Sunday and midweek services during Advent and Lent.
St. Paul’s celebrates the faith of our children at different stages of their lives through Faith Stepping Stones. At each stage, the church presents the children with a special gift and blessing. The following are the six stepping stones:
- Baptism (whenever a child is ready; gift of a children’s Bible)
- Three years old (ready for Sunday School; gift of a book bag)
- Third grade (gift of a youth Bible)
- Beginning of Confirmation (7th grade or whenever a student is ready; gift of a Catechism)
- End of Confirmation (after completing the two-year program; gift of a special book)
- High school graduation (gift of a Lutheran Prayer Book)
In addition, Rally Day is annual celebration in September that marks the beginning of the Sunday School year.
For more information learning opportunities, see the subtopics under the Learn menu.
