Join us on Sunday, December 1st as the Board of Education holds its annual Intergenerational Sunday School Project Day on the First Sunday in Advent. Meet in the undercroft from 9:30-10:30am for activities of service and personal enrichment. Help assemble fleece blankets or sort personal care items to be given to individuals served by Fairfax County’s Hypothermia Prevention Program. Also, assemble advent wreaths for personal use and pick up an Advent devotional book. Use your circular wreath form from past years, or let Theresa Shaltanis (theresashaltanis@yahoo.com) know if you need a new circle wreath form or candles by 11/25.
Donations–You can help enrich Intergenerational SS on 12/1–Do you have any extra personal care items (travel-size shampoos, soaps, shower gels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc) that you can donate for those served in the Fairfax County Hypothermia Prevention Program? Please find box for donations in narthex. Also, if you have fresh greenery (magnolia, holly, evergreen, etc), or garden pruning shears that can be shared, please bring them on 12/1 during advent wreath making activity.
