Here is a list of our Winter/Spring 2020 classes:
January 5 – 19: Lutheran Hymnody
Kantor Aaron teaches this class – giving an overview of Carl Schalk’s Luther on Music – Paradigms of Praise and including discussions on hymns and hymnals in the Lutheran Church.
January 26 – February 23: Every One His Witness
Pastor Lehrer teaches this class – using materials recently developed by our Synod. The class will help equip us to share the Good News with those we meet who are of differing religions and worldviews.
March 1 – April 5: We Preach Christ Crucified
Pastor Mark teaches this class – held during the season of Lent – which will help us examine the message of the cross and show how it is central to what Christians believe.
April 19 – May 24: Messages from John’s Gospel
Judy Koucky and Melissa Hecht teach this class – during the Easter Season – which will examine particular texts that highlight the identity of Jesus and speak to the power and blessing he offers his people.
