Service Webcast Project
The YouTube streamed church services that the pastors, the cantor, and others have provided starting in March have been a great success, with many positive comments. We would like to upgrade these video services, live stream them and continue them even after we resume normal activities. The Church Council voted to approve a $15,000 expenditure to pay for equipment and wiring of the sanctuary to make streaming the services possible. Equipment would include a production table that would have several monitors, head set, computer and mixing board. The production table would occupy about ten feet of the last two pews. Several cameras will be placed in the back and sides of the sanctuary, some stationary, and some which can pivot and zoom. Microphones would be placed strategically to pick up sound. An addition to the project would be wiring the church buildings to improve and extend wi-fi for our church workers, parishioners, visitors and to live stream church services. We are looking for a quality of production that is neither highly-polished nor amateurish but somewhere in between. Because the cost of this project is not currently in our church budget, we are asking for financial donations. If you would like to make this project happen, please consider a special gift toward the expenses. Designate your check or online payment as Service Webcast Project.
